Bellur Krishnamacharya Sundaraja Iyengar, is one of the most recognized teachers in the world and who introduced yoga to the West. He practiced and taught for more than 70 years. He is considered the greatest exponent of contemporary yoga. His method is based on the legacy of Patanjali and was developed on a physical, intellectual and spiritual level transforming it into a technique that can be used by all yoga practitioners. B.K.S. Iyengar was born with serious health problems and thanks to his devoted practice he was able to overcome them and then come out stronger. Everything that B.K.S. Iyengar has contributed to the world is based on his own experience, study and dedication to this discipline.
