ONLINE CLASSES

ONLINE CLASSES
During these challenging times that we are facing as humanity online yoga has has turned into a great tool.
When I started teaching online I knew I had to go beyond what I was used to and open up to this new way of teaching knowing that having a flexible body is helpless if you don’t have a flexible mind.
During class I can see in detail and verbally adjust each of the students guiding them through clear and precise instructions and challenging them go deeper into their practice in order for transformation to occur.
There are classes for beginner students as well as for more seasoned ones.
It is thrilling and comforting to see that no matter where we are we are all part of a great group of committed practitioners.
Most of the time I stay a little longer after class so that students can ask me questions or clear out any doubts. To see them wave, smile, and listen to what they have to say is a way of deepening our teacher/student connection beyond class and I think it also keeps us strong as a group.
It makes me really happy to see students not only from Chile but from different parts of the world with different time zones all getting together through practice!
STUDENT`S EXPERIENCES

The first time a practiced with Xime it was an explosion of light! I felt a deep sense of happiness and connection. Practice begins by centering myself from the outside in then on the inverse process. It’s like a fusion with the universe that I wouldn’t know how to describe any other way. I’m a certified Iyengar yoga teacher and with Xime I can deepen my practice and also share that in my own teaching.

As a dancer, the Iyengar method has allowed me to open up my awareness of mind/body in calmness. Creating space, twisting, extending, breathing, grounding are all actions that have acquired a deeper sense in my practice. I practice yoga because it gives me a sense of well-being and I like how my body feels with this daily discipline.

During these times of uncertainty and changes yoga practice gives us a refuge where we can stay connected to what is essential, being in the present.

Thanks to online classes I’ve been able to keep myself close to Iyengar yoga which has helped me stay connected with myself and also positive throughout this pandemic process.

I’ve been practicing yoga for over 15 years and I feel that during this confinement I’ve approached my practice with the same freshness of the beginning but with a mind and body much more aware towards a deeper experience through practice.

Iyengar yoga practice is just like everything that’s good in life. It’s not easy because our mind tells us to stay in our comfort zone but when we leave that place we realize it was worth the effort. I couldn’t think of a better way to connect with our true essence.

My yoga practice has helped me stay active and with a quiet mind in spite of confinement.

When my mind is spinning, practice helps me to quiet down. When my body feels tired and with no energy my practice gives me back my vitality.

I had been practicing yoga from a young age but none of the methods I had practiced were giving me the answers I was looking for yoga to make sense to me. Until in 2009 I came into Xime’s class for the first time. That’s when I realized this was the method I would keep practicing for the rest of my life. I’ve found balance between my mind, body and soul. Thank you Xime for guiding me on this path!

Thanks to my daily practice I feel that I can strengthen my body, train my mind and work on my self discipline.

As a doctor working as a first responder during this pandemic, it’s the yoga practice that brings me back to the present moment. It soothes and warms me taking me to places of soft and calm colors. Each class makes me feel humble and thankful for everything.

I discovered yoga 12 years ago. What started as a physical practice became a healing process towards the inside. Practice brings me back to what’s essential to happiness and balance.
