MY PATH IN YOGA
20 years ago I discovered yoga for the first time. I tried a few methods until I came across Iyengar yoga while I was living in Bali.
Back in Chile I was dedicated full time to deepen my practice as well as my teaching. I took classes and workshops in my country and abroad (including India) with the most experienced Iyengar yoga teachers.
I had been an Iyengar yoga practitioner for over 12 years when I first got certified in this method. Since then I’ve gone through assessments four times to upgrade my certification level. My assessors have been Jose Maria Vigar, Lois Steinberg, Dean and Rebecca Lerner.
By the end of 2020 I passed my assessment to get the new Level 3 certificate on Iyengar yoga.
I am currently practicing, studying and learning under the guidance of Lois Steinberg.
Up to this day I’ve been practicing uninterruptedly for over 20 years and teaching for almost 17.
Nowadays I’m teaching online classes every week for all levels of practitioners. I have a beautiful group of committed students from Chile and abroad.
You are always welcome to practice with me!
WHAT YOGA HAS DONE FOR ME
It’s in the 20 years of uninterrupted yoga practice that I have found my refuge.
Having a spinal congenital condition has made me explore through practice how to heal, strengthen and find relief. It has also allowed me to study in depth the effects of Iyengar yoga not only for spine problems but for all kinds of pain, injuries and conditions turning into an incredible tool of knowledge for also helping others.
Practice to me is the place where I challenge myself, it is where I find freedom and expansion. It is also the where I center and accept myself in my true nature.
